Exotic flowers may be best given on almost every occasion because it is perfect for impressing and making an impact on a person. Exotic and rare flowers are combination of radiant colors and unusual shapes that could be very effective in doing spectacular and memorable arrangements. These flowers have distinctive looks and fragrance that catch the attention of most people.

There are different species of exotic flowers and the most common ones where anthuriums, a heart shaped flower which are almost always present on bouquets. Orchids are also considered as a rare plant that has over 20,000 genuses. These flowers are known for their beauty and color that provides peace. There are still a lot of other exotic flowers like dendrobiums that come from large family species. Another kind is the Musas which are perfect for gardens. Cymbidiums, odontoglossums and oncidiums are rare flowering plants that grow in high altitude and cooler places while miltonias which are found in Brazil survive only in warm weathers. From the Marantaceae family, Calatheas, an exotic flower that comes from South Africa, is known to have more than 300 different species. Vandas are also a type of exotic flowers that is used for home decoration. Many people like this flower because it is perfect to use as a hanging ornament.
